Submissions

MJIL publishes two issues per year in May and October. The deadlines for submissions are 31 January and 30 June respectively.

Please send an electronic copy of your submission, preferably in Microsoft Word format, to the Editors at: law-mjil@unimelb.edu.au.

All submissions should comply with the Melbourne Manual for International Law Citation and the Australian Guide to Legal Citation, which can be viewed at http://www.mjil.org and http://mulr.law.unimelb.edu.au/PDFs/aglc_dl.pdf.

All articles, case notes, commentaries and review essays published are refereed. No papers will be sent to a referee, nor considered for publication, unless a signed copy of the Publication Policy is returned to the Editors. As stated in the Publication Policy, authors must declare if they have submitted their papers to other journals for publication. A copy of the Publication Policy will be forwarded to authors upon submission, or can be downloaded here.
